Eduardo Kobra confirmed as speaker at Smart City Expo Curitiba

Renowned global artist will be featured at Brazil's largest smart cities event

São Paulo, February 27, 2024 – With murals on five continents and an inspiring trajectory, Eduardo Kobra has just been confirmed as one of the speakers at the next Smart City Expo Curitiba 2024. Internationally recognized for his iconic works that combine urban art and social messages, the visual artist and muralist will bring his perspective unique to the event, sharing information about the role of art in building smart cities. 

An artist who transforms the streets, Kobra is known for his vibrant depictions of historical and cultural figures, and his impact on urban spaces is evident. Your participation in Smart City Expo Curitiba promises to inspire leaders, urban planners and art and innovation enthusiasts.

Smart City Expo Curitiba 2024 is an event of unprecedented proportions, organized by iCities, a pioneering Brazilian company in smart cities, with the support of Fira Barcelona, ​​an international institution with 90 years of history and a reference in global meetings. ABOUT EDUARDO KOBRA

Born on the outskirts of São Paulo in 1975, Eduardo Kobra became a renowned artist

global, with murals on five continents. He holds records including the largest mural

graffiti in the world, and made as a panel of almost 500 square meters installed in the

UN headquarters in New York. Furthermore, he is recognized by galleries and museums and, in August 2023, a film about his life won the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix, the most important recognition of the category in the country.  

Kobra is known for his sensitivity to social issues, representing causes

environmental issues, human rights and peace in his murals. He also founded the Kobra Institute, which draws on the artist's own biography to substantiate the importance and role of culture as an agent that transforms lives and realities.

His work is marked by vibrant and contrasting colors and he collaborates
